For engine blocks and cylinder heads, Hycote Gloss Black Engine Enamel provides a 400ml high temperature coating formulated for demanding engine bay applications. The gloss black finish is intended for many areas of water cooled engines and combines a self-priming, one-step application with resistance to petrol, oils and greases.

This enamel is suitable where high temperature properties are required and gives a durable, corrosion-protecting finish. It should not be used on applications where high-temperature attributes are not required or on surfaces that need subsequent overcoating with an alternative coating.
