From Hycote, this gloss black engine enamel comes in a 400ml aerosol and is intended for high-temperature areas on water cooled engines. It is primarily used on engine blocks and cylinder heads, where a self-priming coating is required in a single application.

The finish provides corrosion protection and is resistant to petrol, oils and greases. It is formulated for use where heat resistance is needed and should not be used on applications where high-temperature properties are unnecessary or on surfaces that require subsequent overcoating with an alternative coating.
