From Hycote, this gloss black engine enamel comes in a 400ml aerosol and is intended for engine blocks and cylinder heads. It is suitable for many areas of water cooled engines and provides a self-priming, one-step application.

The finish is formulated for high temperature areas, with resistance to petrol, oils and greases. It also provides a durable, corrosion-protecting coating. Do not use it where high-temperature properties are not required or on surfaces that need subsequent overcoating with an alternative coating.
