For automotive finishing and protective topcoats, Hycote Petrol Resistant Lacquer is a clear lacquer in a 400ml aerosol format. It provides a high gloss protective finish with resistance to petrol and is suitable for use over the Hycote range of acrylic automotive paints, including areas exposed to petrol splashes such as motorcycle tanks.

It can also be applied to bare metallic surfaces where corrosion resistance is required and is compatible with most conventional automotive finishes. The coating is single pack and combines a durable finish with flexibility and adhesion to metals and painted surfaces.
