From one of Montalcino’s established producers, Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino 2023 is a Tuscan red made entirely from the Brunello variant of Sangiovese. Drawn from the estate’s younger vines, it offers a rounded red fruit character with an easy, immediate style, supported by satisfying complexity and structure.

Aged for 12 months in large casks followed by a period of bottle ageing, this maturation softens the tannins and adds further depth. Ready to enjoy now, it will also drink well over the next 2 to 3 years.
