Iron Maiden The Number of the Beast is a black vinyl LP edition of the band’s third studio album, released on 22 March 1982. It was the first Iron Maiden album to feature vocalist Bruce Dickinson and the last to include drummer Clive Burr.

The album achieved critical and commercial success, becoming the band’s first release to top the UK Albums Chart and to reach the top 40 of the US Billboard 200. It produced the singles "Run to the Hills" and "The Number of the Beast", with "Run to the Hills" also marking the band’s first top-ten UK single.
