Synopses

House of Robots

Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez has never found it easy to fit in, and he dreads bringing his mum’s latest invention to school: a robot he calls E for “Error”. Surrounded at home by a colourful cast of robots, Sammy is still unprepared for one that believes it is his brother and may be even nerdier than he is. As Sammy adjusts, he discovers E holds an amazing secret that could change his family forever, if the trial run goes to plan.

After early glitches, Sammy and his “bro-bot” E become best friends. With E now a valued part of the family, the other electronic residents of the House of Robots feel overlooked, especially when Sammy’s inventor mum is distracted by a top-secret project and the robots begin to fall into disrepair. The result is a robot revolution filled with harmless havoc and pranks, as Sammy and his sister Maddie try to keep the peace until the secret project is revealed.

Robots Go Wild

Sammy and E make new friends as E acts as a school proxy for Sammy’s bedridden sister Maddie. Trouble begins when E malfunctions at the worst possible moment, is upstaged by a new robot, and loses his ability to help Maddie. Sammy must work out what is wrong with E and try to save his family.
