From Knipser, the 2023 Kirschgarten GG is a Grand Cru Pinot Blanc from the Kirschgarten vineyard site. Also known as Weissburgunder, it brings together notable concentration and complexity with a rich texture and bright acidity. Drinking well now, it also has the structure to develop over at least seven years, with potential to age longer.

Peach, pear, pineapple and papaya lead the palate, followed by creamy lees, toasty barrel notes and a gunflint edge. The result is a layered white with both depth and freshness, suited to the table now or to the cellar for further development.
