Kuhn Rikon LOCARNO Casserole

Designed with crisp, modern lines, the Kuhn Rikon Locarno casserole brings a clean, understated look to the hob and oven. Produced in Switzerland, it pairs a robust stainless steel body with thoughtful details for everyday cooking, from measured liquid additions to comfortable handling.

Made from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel with a matt brushed finish, it features a Superthermic sandwich base with an aluminium base fully encapsulated in stainless steel. A glass lid with steam vent supports easy monitoring and helps prevent a vacuum lock as the casserole cools. Ergonomic all-black Bakelite handles are shaped for a secure grip and stay cool in use, while interior litre markings make it simple to measure directly in the pan.

Use and care

• For normal soiling, use ordinary detergent
• For intensive soiling, scale and/or discolouration, use a chromium steel cleaner, for example Swiss Cleaner
• Abrasive cleaners can damage the surface
• Washing by hand is recommended
• If washed regularly in the dishwasher, synthetic fittings may lose their shine and aluminium may oxidise or corrode
• Do not remove stuck food with sharp objects such as knives, steel wool or scourers
• Remove limescale with vinegar or lemon juice
