An essential piece of kit for those in the farming industry or abattoirs, this easy-to-use defeathering machine is suitable for use with medium sized birds such as chicken, turkey, and duck.

Made using hard-wearing stainless steel, the machine is extremely robust and built to withstand heavy use. Lined with 132 pre-fitted flexible rubber fingers, they quickly and effectively remove feathers by rubbing up against the poultry. The base of the drum is fitted with a spinning disc which moves the birds around the machine to ensure all parts of the bird come into contact with the fingers for a clean removal.

Electrically powered, this 3HP machine is generously sized with an extra wide opening and a 60cm x 39cm barrel. With only an on/off switch to consider, all you have to do is turn the plucker on, place the poultry inside the drum and let it get to work removing feathers from up to 8 birds at once! Taking less than 60 seconds to complete a full defeathering cycle, this really is the ultimate time saving device for increasing productivity.

Fitted with a water pipe, you can connect your hose to supply a stream of water into the 60cm barrel which will wash away loose feathers that have gathered to help the machine to work at its optimum performance. The removed feathers and excess water will be drained away from the machine via the waste drain chute. This feature also makes general cleaning after each use much easier.
