From Love Frankie, the Bird Song Heron Lampshade brings a calm, decorative finish to statement lighting. Handmade to order in the UK, it pairs a gold lining with bone fringing for a look that feels both striking and considered, whether styled on a table lamp or as a ceiling pendant.

The design draws on traditional Japanese influences, with herons in white, black and grey joined by flying dragonflies in blue, mustards and salmon pink, plus lotus flowers set against a muted bone backdrop. Part of the Animalesque collection, it’s created in velvet fabric in Bone and designed to keep the outer colour rich and opaque, while the metallic lining directs light from the top and bottom of the shade.
