Our Deadly Night Shade collection wouldn't be complete without our best selling Oversized Cone Lampshades. Available in 2 sizes, our 70's inspired, tall conical lampshades have been brought up to date with fresh, modern fabrics and designs.

Intended for use with short, squat, bulbous table lamps to make the most of the statement shade and to truly channel that 70's vibe, our Oversized Cone Lampshades are here to make an impact.

Our Oversized Cone Lampshades are available in two sizes with the fitting placed at the bottom of the lampshade, are only suitable for table lamps:

Welcome to Love Frankie, the home of statement lighting designs.  All of our lampshades are designed, curated and handmade to order by our small but brilliant team here in the UK. Please see below for our Lampshade Specifications.

LAMPSHADE LEAD TIME:

All Love Frankie lampshades are handmade to order and hold a lead time of approximately 2 – 3 weeks. During busy periods such as Christmas and promotional sales this lead time can increase to 5 – 6 weeks.

LAMPSHADE FITTINGS:

Our lampshades are made using industry standard lampshade ring sets, suitable for use on all UK and EU standard lamps and flex and fitting sets. We provide a reducing ring in the central ring fitting allowing you to convert the lampshade from an 39mm / ES27 fitting (EU) to a 29mm / Smaller Bayonet Fitting (UK).Our lampshades will not fit on a lamp with an American style harp or a lamp which requires a lampshade carrier.  These can be ordered on request so please do not hesitate to get in touch with your requirements.

The bulb holder component in the centre of the lampshade sits 4cm up from the bottom of a lampshade for a lamp, or 4cm down from the top of a ceiling pendant lampshade. If you have an arc floor lamp you will need to order your lampshade for a ceiling pendant meaning the fittings will be at the top of the lampshade. 

No Flex and Fitting set or Table lamp is included in the cost of our Lampshades. The Lampshades are sold as just the Shade and the flex / table lamp is purely used for photography purposes.

LAMPSHADE SIZING:

We show our lampshade sizing in both cms and inches, please refer to our proportions images on the product page to find the right shape and then choose your size from the drop down menu.

METALLIC LINED LAMPSHADES:

Three layers of materials are used to make our Gold and Copper lined shades; the foil lining, the pvc, then your chosen fabric or wallpaper.  This allows the colour on the outside of the shade to stay rich and opaque. No light can permeate through the sides of the shade, meaning the light is directional and will reflect off the metallic lining giving a wonderfully warm glow from the top and bottom of the shade. The amount of light from the lampshade will depend on the size of the shade you order, ie: the bigger the shade, the more light you will receive.

FRINGING:

Our fringing measures 10cm or 5cms in length, please note the dimensions on the drop down menus and the sizes on our proportions image do not include the fringing measurements.

BULBS:

The type of bulb required for use with our lampshades will be dependent on the max wattage of the lamp or the flex set you intend on using. Please consult the manufactures guide to find your fitting and max wattage. The most common type of bulb is the European ES27 Bulb. A large screw in bulb with a fitting diameter of 27mm.Alternatively, a Small BC Bayonet Cap B22 bulb is a UK standard bulb with a fitting diameter of 22mm.
