The metallic lining is constructed in three layers (foil lining, PVC, then your chosen outer), helping the exterior colour stay rich and opaque while directing light to reflect from the copper interior. When illuminated, the result is a warm glow from the top and bottom of the shade, with light output depending on the size selected.
