They have a low profile lens that fits directly into the eye socket for minimal drag. Mirror lenses reflect the sun, and are tinted and therefore protect eyes from sunlight. useful when swimming backstroke, outside, or if your pool is very sunlit. If you wear it indoors, or where light is less visibility will be impaired.
