Melvins At The Stake - Complete Atlantic Recordings 1993-1996 is a 3CD box set collecting the band’s three Atlantic albums: 1993’s ‘Houdini’ (CD1), 1996’s ‘Stoner Witch’ (CD2) and ‘Stag’ (CD3). The set spans the period when major labels signed a wave of alternative rock bands from in and around Seattle, Washington, following the early 1990s mainstream breakthrough of grunge.

‘Houdini’ has cover artwork by Frank Kozik and is in part co-produced by Kurt Cobain, with recording mainly by Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover. The collection includes bonus tracks across all three discs, including covers and live recordings, plus single edits where stated.
