Metallica '72 Seasons' CD

Metallica 72 Seasons is a CD edition of the band’s 12th studio album. Produced by Greg Fidelman with Hetfield & Ulrich, it runs for over 77 minutes across 12 tracks and marks the first full-length collection of new material since 2016’s Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.

The album title reflects the first 18 years of life, described by James Hetfield as a period that shapes “true or false selves” and influences adult perceptions and behaviour. 72 Seasons is introduced by the single “Lux Æterna”.
