Minuty 281 2022

From Château Minuty, Minuty 281 2022 is an exceptional Provence rosé cuvée, created from a selection of Grenache clones with vines averaging 25 years old and shaped by the maritime influences of the Château Minuty terroir. Conceived as a distinctive expression of the estate, it draws on the best plots developed from the winery’s exclusive Grenache cloning work begun in the 1970s by Etienne Matton.

The name 281 is a nod to the blue Pantone number used for the bottle neck, celebrating the nearby Mediterranean Sea that influences the Minuty vineyard. Designed with celebration, haute-couture and fine dining in mind, this rosé presents a blush pink colour and an aromatic profile described as intense and joyful.

On the nose, it opens with a delicate combination of citrus, tropical fruit and white blackcurrant, before moving into complex white fruit, vine peach, salty and spicy notes, finished with white pepper. The palate is described as having a dreamy mouthfeel, supported by the wine’s body and an intense grip.
