Synopses

At Bertram’s Hotel

Bertram’s Hotel offers impeccable service, luxurious rooms and eccentric guests, making it an unlikely place for Canon Pennyfather to be stranded. When he muddles his dates and attempts to travel to Lucerne a day late, he inadvertently triggers a violent chain of events. Miss Marple is certain there is more happening than first appears.

Nemesis

Miss Marple receives a letter from the recently deceased millionaire Jason Rafiel and is unsure what to make of it. He challenges her to solve a crime, with an inheritance of £20,000 if she succeeds. The difficulty is that he does not say who was involved, or where or when the crime took place, leaving Jane Marple intrigued.

The Thirteen Problems
