MONETA UK Handcrafted Pair of Koronios Mediterranean Terracotta Pots

Handcrafted in Crete, the Moneta UK Koronios terracotta pots bring together traditional ceramic making and a substantial sculptural form. Made from mineral-rich Cretan clay and fired at high temperatures, each pot is frost-proof and finished by hand, with natural variations in tone, shape and surface markings that reflect the making process.

The broad, rounded body, strong shoulders and narrow base take inspiration from ancient Greek storage jars, giving the pair a presence suited to courtyards, gardens and landscape planting schemes. They can be used for large shrubs, small trees or structural planting such as agaves and olives, or left as standalone decorative pieces. A set of terracotta feet is included with each pot to support drainage and help prevent frost damage.
