MORRIS SAE 40 Classic Motor Oil Low Detergent / Dispersant Lubricant

Morris Golden Film SAE 40 Classic Motor Oil is a low detergent and dispersant monograde lubricant formulated for naturally aspirated four stroke petrol and diesel engines, as well as classic gearbox designs. This specialist oil is part of the Golden Film Classic Oils range and is suited to applications where engine design and tolerances prohibit the use of modern multigrade, high additive level oils.

Its low dispersant formulation allows suspended matter to drop into the sump, making it suitable for earlier oil filtration systems such as mesh gauze or strainers. Enhanced anti-foam properties support use in motorcycle and automotive classic gearbox designs. SAE 40 is also suitable for lightly loaded diesel engines used in canal boats, watercraft and older generators including Lister and Perkins.
