Motorhead The Manticore Tapes is presented here on CD in a digi-sleeve format. The recording documents the band’s 1976 line-up of Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor, captured as the trio rehearsed and showcased the new formation.

Recorded at Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s Manticore Studio in Fulham in August 1976, these sessions marked the first time the line-up recorded together. The tape was later discovered and restored, and this edition includes additional alternate takes and instrumentals.
