Launched in 1992, and still popular 30 years on, Angel is an iconic fragrance from Mugler. Angel is an amber vanilla fragrance for women created by Olivier Cresp and Yves de Chirin, and it's success has been recognised since launch, with the fragrance winning the FiFi Award Hall of Fame in 2007. The top notes of Angel are Cotton Candy, Coconut, Cassis, Melon, Jasmine, Bergamot, Pineapple and Mandarin Orange; the middle notes are Honey, Red Berries, Blackberry, Plum, Apricot, Peach, Jasmine, Orchid, Caraway, Nutmeg, Rose and Lily-of-the-Valley; and base notes of Patchouli, Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Amber, Musk and Sandalwood. The fragrance is a complex one, which is sweet yet green and earthy, with floral tones, and it takes those around it on a real journey that seems to be changing constantly. The fragrance is truly unique, a masterpiece of perfumery and something that stands out, 30 years after it was launched. The fragrance is one best enjoyed in the colder months, as it can get heavy in Summer, and is most suited to late Autumn and through the Winter.
