Nirvana ‘Bleach’ (20th Anniversary) is a CD re-release issued in 2009 to mark 20 years of the band’s debut album. Originally recorded across three sessions with producer Jack Endino at Reciprocal Recording Studios in Seattle in December 1988 and January 1989, it was first released in June 1989.
This expanded edition is remastered from the original tapes at Sterling Sound in a session overseen by Jack Endino. Deluxe SP834 adds an unreleased live recording of the complete 9 February 1990 show at the Pine Street Theatre, Portland, Oregon, remixed from the original tapes by Endino, plus special packaging and a 48-page CD booklet with candid photos.
