A floating EVA foam brim and shallow soft peak help maintain clear vision while surfing, while rear mesh vents release water after duck dives and wipeouts.

Comfort-focused details include a padded neoprene internal headband, padded neoprene straps and a mesh ear panel with protective mesh over the ear section. Fit can be fine-tuned via the adjustable quick-release chin strap and the shock cord and toggle adjustment, with a safety loop to attach to wetsuit zipper webbing for added security. UPF 50+ protection is stated with an Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency sun protection rating.
