Otway & Orford 'Corner Kick' football silk pocket square - blue & red (42 x 42cm)

From Otway & Orford, the ‘Corner Kick’ pocket square brings a bold blue and red design to tailored looks, created in collaboration with contemporary artist Julia Tanner. Inspired by the movement and chaos of a decisive moment in football, the artwork began as an acrylic painting on canvas, using poured, dripped and splattered paint to capture the energy of the ball headed towards goal.

Made in Macclesfield, England, the traditional home of English silk printing, the design is reproduced with care to achieve a strong balance of colour and clarity between the printed and reverse sides, so it looks considered whichever fold you choose. Twin borders in blue and white frame the image, finished with a skilfully hand-rolled and hand-sewn ‘shoestring’ hem in burgundy. Presented in a complimentary gift box, it is tissue-wrapped and accompanied by a card sharing the story of the artist and her artwork.
