For sealing applications exposed to heat, oil and vibration, the Permatex Supra Black Gasket Maker provides an OEM specified RTV silicone sealant in an 80 ml tube. It meets performance specs of OE silicone gaskets and supports extended drivetrain warranty compliance for dealership warranty requirements.

This fast-curing formula is sensor-safe, low odour and noncorrosive. It retains high flexibility and oil resistant properties through a patented adhesion system, with resistance to auto and shop fluids and vibration. Suitable for automotive and marine applications including valve covers, oil pans, intake manifold end seals, timing covers, differential covers, water pumps and thermostat housings.

Specifications

• Temperature range: -54C to 260C intermittent
• Dries in 1 hour
• Fully cures in 24 hours
• Recommended bead size: 1/16" to 1/4" (2 to 6 mm)

Care and maintenance

• Replace the cap after use.
• Clean hands with a dry cloth or Permatex Fast Orange Hand Cleaner.
• Clean tools with nonflammable cleaning fluid.

Safety information

• Not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.
• Allow more curing time in cold or very dry conditions.
