Petromax Insert for Atago Griddle Plate

Designed for Petromax, this Insert for the Atago Griddle Plate brings extra versatility to plancha-style grilling, adding distinctive grill stripes while helping keep food securely positioned in the centre of the plate. It fits into the opening of the Atago Griddle Plate and can also be used with the Petromax Cooking Support for the Atago Griddle Plate, creating a stable surface for cookware directly over the flames.

Ideal when you want to cook alongside your main grill, the Insert lets you coordinate dishes such as sauce, soup, pan-cooked sides or coffee while steak, fillet or vegetables take on classic griddle marks. When it’s time to refuel, it can be lifted out with BBQ and coal tongs to add charcoal or wood through the central opening, then returned to continue cooking.
