From Petromax, the Stainless Steel Perkomax Percolator brings a considered approach to brewing coffee and tea, using a gentle percolation method designed to draw out aroma as the water circulates. Suitable for outdoor cooking as well as everyday use at home, it’s an easy way to prepare hot drinks whether you’re gathered around a campfire or using an electric or gas hob.

Inside the pot, a tube and sieve container hold coffee or tea powder. As the water boils, it rises through the tube and flows through a permeable lid into the beverage powder before mixing back into the remaining water. The longer the water circulates, the more intense the taste becomes, helping to release fine flavour nuances. A glass knob in the lid lets you keep an eye on the brewing process as it develops.
