Portobello Road Sloeberry & Blackcurrant

At The Distillery on London’s Portobello Road, Portobello Road creates this sloe and blackcurrant gin by distilling a botanically intense version of its classic London Dry Gin, then blending it with wild-foraged sloe berries from Burgundy, French blackcurrant liqueur, Italian cherry liqueur and a little sugar. The spirit is then rested in ex-whiskey barrels, giving added depth alongside its fruit-led character.

At 28% ABV, it is intensely gin-led with stone fruit character, syrupy sweetness and a subtle oak influence from the barrel. It suits simple serves over ice and works equally well in cocktails, including a Sloe Gin Spritz.
