From the Eguren family, Señorio de San Vicente Rioja San Vicente 2021 is a red wine from Rioja made entirely from Tempranillo Peludo. Drawn from the single vineyard La Canoca near the village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, the site lies at close to 600m at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountains.

Tempranillo Peludo is a low-yielding variety that needs a long growing season to ripen, and this bottling reflects the distinctive character of that fruit and site. The result is a wine noted for its intensity, complexity and capacity to age, while remaining appealing in its youth. A compelling Rioja for the table now or for laying down.
