From Santorini, Sigalas Mavrotragano 2023 is a red wine made from the island’s indigenous Mavrotragano grape. Full-bodied and deeply flavoured, it combines a super-smooth texture with a well-balanced structure, offering a concentrated style with notable depth.

Damson and bramble fruit sit at the core, joined by hints of peppery spice and a richness that recalls dried figs and marmalade. The result is a bold yet composed wine with a distinctive sense of place. Paris Sigalas planted a small vineyard near the highest point of Santorini when the variety was close to extinction at the turn of the millennium.
