The Smashing Pumpkins Pure Acoustic - Unplugged & More 1993 is a 2LP collection of acoustic performances recorded for live transmission during 1993, alongside bonus cuts from an additional acoustic performance recorded in 1991 while the band were promoting Gish. Formed in 1988 in Chicago by Billy Corgan, D'arcy Wretzky, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, the group developed a densely layered, guitar-heavy sound drawing on multiple styles.

These stripped-back recordings document the band performing material associated with 1993’s Siamese Dream, plus other songs captured in an unplugged setting.
