This is the ultimate Chunky Dining Table. Reclaimed wood slabs are carefully selected for their quality, and lovingly sanded down and refurbished into beautiful, chunky, 3” thick planks which retain the history and beauty of the original wood. Each Chunky Dining Table is made-to-order so you can choose the right size for you, whether you’ll be using it for a family of four or entertaining large groups.
The Chunky Dining Table lends itself well to a variety of styles, whether you prefer an industrial look with a black metal frame, or a farmhouse style with a reclaimed wood frame and an Antique Oak stain. Your Chunky Dining Table can also come with one or two equally chunky matching benches.
Please send us your desired stain and leg choice post-purchase to [email protected]
Materials
Solid Reclaimed Pine Railway Sleepers cut to size, sanded and stained.
Handmade Steel Framed Legs, powder coated/clear steel (Solid Steel).
Dimensions*
*All Benches will have the same leg design as the table unless requested otherwise, with the exception of V Frame legs which will have Trapezium on the bench due to its stability. Benches are sized to fit underneath the table and therefore are 40cm shorter than the length of the table. Sizes may vary by 1-2cm.
Colour
All items are available in any of our stains which you can find in our colour guide image. Please note that since our items are stained and not painted, the final colour will vary on how much the timber absorbs the stain itself.
Steel legs are available in Black or Clear Steel and all timber legs will be stained to match the table top unless requested otherwise.
Assembly
Legs come separate and ready to attach with the screws provided into the pre drilled holes, this can be done with a Screwdriver or a drill.

Our Timber
We only use Reclaimed Timber and therefore it may have visible bumps and dents which we believe as a Company it’s all part of the character and the story of the piece. We take great care to join the pieces together, sand and smooth any anomalies from the timber, but it does contain knots, grains and of course, lots of character. There will also be small grooves where the timbers join, like in your typical farmhouse table. They are biscuit jointed in 2 or 3 places and added support bars which are glued and screwed on the underside. Gaps may be slightly visible in between the timbers joins, all part of the character and charm of using reclaimed and not 'perfectly straight’ timber.
