Why it stands out

Torres 20 is a polished Spanish grape brandy that leans into elegance rather than excess. It is made by Juan Torres Master Distillers from Parellada and Ugni Blanc grapes, with each variety double distilled separately in traditional stills. Unlike the solera ageing used for other Torres bottlings, this expression uses the house's static ageing method in French oak barrels.

Flavour profile

In the glass, you can expect a dark amber colour and a warm, spice-led profile. Vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg lead the nose, while the palate is notably velvety, rounded and smooth. The oak sits neatly in the background, adding structure without crowding out the softer spice notes.

This is the 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Importer technical details also list it as suitable for vegans and vegetarians, with no fining agents used. It works well served neat in a small measure, or over a single large cube if you want to open it up gently.
