Vintage Tom A fine early 20th century sapphire and diamond ring

An antique five stone boat shaped ring set with three old brilliant cut white diamonds, centre 3.6mm (0.17 carats) each side a deep cornflower blue sapphire 3.7mm and at each end a smaller diamond 3mm (0.10 carats) all sizes estimated.

Diamond colour H-j, clarity Si. Hand carved head in a boat shape, 17x5.2mm, depth 3,.5mm, weight 3.1grams. An iconic style of ring from the early part of the 20th century. No hallmarks were legally required for the period which we estimate at 1900-1910. However the ring tests as 18 carat gold.
