Vintage Tom A Fine Sapphire and Diamond Brooch

An early 20th century pierced geometric brooch testing as platinum. The centre is set with three large old brilliant cut white diamonds, centre 4.8mm, (0.40 carats) each side a 3.4mm diamond (0.15 carats) the rest of the brooch set with many rose cut diamonds, estimated total of 1.30 carats, colour predominantly VS clarity, G-h colour.

There are also two horizontal lines of small calibre cut sapphires., Overall size 48x20mm, weight 7.5 grams.

A beautiful period piece. Sapphire is the birthstone for September.
