A fine solitaire ring by Boodles & Dunthorne (signed inside). The brilliant cut white diamond is estimated at half a carat, and colour assessed at H-i, clarity Si.

Retained by six platinum claws this gorgeous single stone ring so popular throughout the 20th century has a head diameter of 5.2mm, depth 6mm, weight 2.6grams. The shank is 18 carat yellow gold, hallmarked London 1989.
