A fine art deco period three stone ring containing an exceptional mid to dark blue oval sapphire centre stone this 9x6mm (approximately 1.50 carats) in a four claw setting and each side a brilliant cut white diamond, each 5.3mm (0.60 carats).
Diamond colour G-h, clarity VS2-Si1. Head measures 16x9mm, depth 5mm, weight 3.9grams. Tests as platinum, no hallmarks as not a legal requirement for the period. Purchased with an Asprey of London ring pouch and assumed as to be from that company although we have no definitive provenance.
Currently the ring is a size K, however there are soldered in ring reducing tabs and if removed the ring would measure M-N. The shank is a little thin, once we know the size required we will at no extra cost rebuild the shank and remove the tabs via our own workshop. Allow about 2-3 weeks for this.
The ring itself is exceptional and will adorn any finger as the combination of the blue and white gemstones is quite exquisite!
