A single stone ring containing an old brilliant cut white diamond. Diameter 6.1 to 6.2mm, and has a slightly cushion shape.
Estimated diamond carat weight of 0.73 cts. Colour G-h, clarity Si. Depth 5mm, weight 4.5grams. The band is stamped 18CT, and tests as 18 carat gold. Period 1930-1940 (assumed as set with an old cut diamond).
No hallmarks required for this period.
