Vintage Tom A Victorian sapphire and diamond ring

A late Victorian ring set with a small old brilliant cut diamond centre stone 2mm diameter in a star setting, each side a mid blue sapphire, each 2.2mm, and at each end another diamond 1.3mm.

The head is 6.5mm in width, stones set across the band to 16mm. Weight 3.8grams. The shank is stamped 18CT and tests as 18 carat gold. A hallmark was not legally required at the time.

We estimate the ring as being manufactured around 1890-1900. In good overall  condition. Size P, we can resize free of charge.
