Vintage Tom A vintage Amethyst and Diamond Brooch

A lovely brooch from the Edwardian period. Set with a stunning amethyst centre stone 13mm diameter, mille grain setting.

There are eight spiral fronds that emanate from the centre, each set with a 3mm old brilliant cut white diamond and three small seed pearls. Total diamond content estimated at 0.35 carats, colour H-j, clarity Si.

Diameter 35mm, weight 8 grams. Can be worn as a brooch or a pendant. Tests as 9 carat gold, no hallmarks were required for that period.
