Vintage Tom A vintage diamond solitaire ring

A lovely solitaire ring containing a single brilliant cut white diamond. 0.70 carats, colour H-i, clarity VS.

Head 6.2mm, depth 5mm, weight 2.9grams. Platinum claw set. Each shoulder is set with 3 x 1.4mm diamonds, platinum mille grain set. Shank stamped 18CT PLAT, and tests as 18 carat yellow gold. No hallmarks as period assumed 1930-1940, and a hallmark was not legally required.

The solitaire is such an iconic betrothal ring and has been and still is the most popular design for almost 100 years.

This ring is a size P. We can resize free of charge.  Resizing does not affect the ring in any way.
