A gorgeous cluster gem ring. The centre stone a round mid cornflower blue sapphire 7mm diameter (1.25 carats) claw set.
Complimented by an outer border of sixteen old brilliant cut white diamonds, each 2mm diameter. Colour i-j, clarity Si-P1. Total carat weight estimated at 0.50 carats. The head tests as platinum, diameter 11.65mm, depth 4.6mm. Ring weight 3.5grams.
The band tests as 18 carat yellow gold. Period assumed as 1930s, no hallmark was required for this period.
