Vintage Tom An Amethyst and Diamond Cluster Ring

An 18 carat yellow gold* cluster ring containing a round AAA quality amethyst centre stone, 8mm diameter.

Surrounded by sixteen small brilliant cut white diamonds, each 1.5mm to an estimated total weight of 0.25 carats. The claw set head is white gold, 12mm diameter, depth 6mm, the peg setting under this is yellow gold as is the shank, which is stamped 18CT.

The ring we estimate as 1960-1970, before a hallmark was legally required, but *it does test as 18 carat gold.
