A fine antique cluster ring. The centre stone a mid to dark blue sapphire, 5.5x4.5mm.
The outer border a halo of eight old brilliant cut white diamonds, six x 2.4mm, two x 4mm. At the head of each shoulder a 3mm diamond. Total diamond content estimated at one carat. The head measures 18.6x12mm, depth 3.7mm. Weight 4.2grams.
Tests as 18 carat gold. Period assumed 1900-1910, no hallmarks were legally required for this period.
A truly beautiful ring from the elegant Edwardian era. A size M, but we can resize free of charge.
