Vintage Tom An antique sapphire and diamond ring

An antique ring, boat shaped and set with a sapphire centre stone 4mm, each side a 1.5mm rose cut diamond and at each end a 2mm sapphire, all mid blue colour, cornflower hues.

Head is 16x6.6mm, depth 3.3mm, weight 3.5grams. Some decoration to both sides. Shank stamped 18CT. Period assessed at 1900-1910, no hallmarks were legally required at this time.

A typical ring for the period with the Victorian themes of the late 19th century still prevalent in the early Edwardian age and before the advent of the more geometric designs of the Art Deco period.
