Vintage Tom An Art Deco style Emerald and Diamond ring

An Art Deco style cluster ring featuring a square step cut emerald 3.5x3.5mm (est 0.25 carats)

The stylish 1920's head of the ring is set with eight white diamonds, from 1.4 to 2.4mm, and at each side of this  baguette cut diamond , one 3.2x2.2mm, and one 2.4x1mm. Total diamond content is estimated at 0.60 carats. Colour varies from H-K, clarity Si.

The head measures 18x11.7mm (including shoulders) , depth 3.7mm. Ring weight 3.6grams. The ring band is stamped PLAT, and tests as platinum.

We cannot verify the age of the ring, it is in excellent condition, but without a hallmark (usual for any ring manufactured before 1973) we can only assume that it was made before that date. As with many rings throughout the 20th century, a design was often copied from the Art Deco period and whilst it is possible that this ring was made around those dates, we are unable to confirm. However the design is beautiful and will look fabulous on the finger!
