Synopses

The French Confection

The hard-up Diamond Brothers win a weekend for two in Paris, but danger follows as soon as they arrive. With a nasty smell in the air, Nick and Tim realise their dream trip could turn into something far worse.

The Blurred Man

Lenny Smile has been run over by a steamroller. Millionaire Joe Carter, who financed Smile’s children’s charity Dream Time, wants answers about what happened to Smile and his money, and hires the Diamond Brothers to investigate.

The in Public Enemy Number Two

Nick Diamond ends up sharing a prison cell with Johnny Powers, Public Enemy No 1. To rescue the situation, he must go after a master criminal known as the Fence, but first he has to get out of jail.

The Falcon's Malteser

A dwarf visits the office and leaves a package, and Tim Diamond is drawn into a baffling case. After the office is ransacked, the package turns out to be a box of Maltesers, and questions mount when the visitor is murdered soon after.

South by South East

Tim is broke until a mysterious stranger offers him a wad of money for his overcoat. The apparent good fortune turns dark when the stranger is shot, and the Diamond Brothers may be next.

Granny

Orphan Tom Falconer heads for a dirty, distant and dangerous London with vicious criminals on his trail. He meets Moll Cutpurse, a thirteen-year-old pickpocket, and together they are chased across the city by the murderous Ratsey, as Tom realises what is at stake on the first night of a new play, The Devil and his Boy.

Groosham Grange

A dwarf comes into the office and leaves a package, and Tim Diamond is faced with a challenging case. The office is ransacked and the package contains only a box of Maltesers, raising questions about the visitor and his murder soon after.

Return to Groosham Grange

In this sequel to Groosham Grange, someone is trying to destroy David Eliot’s school. David is on course to win the Unholy Grail, but suspicious mishaps narrow the gap between him and new boy Vincent King, suggesting someone is trying to stop David winning and threatening Groosham Grange itself.
