Designed for timber external doors, the Yale Locks BS1 Nightlatch is British Standard approved for maximum security, with a Kitemark to BS 3621:2007 and endorsement by insurance companies. Operation is key-based from the outside, while the inside offers both key and lever handle use, with a lockable internal handle for added security.

For everyday convenience, the latch automatically deadlocks when the door is closed, and a snib function allows the latch to be held back when required. A 6-pin high-performance cylinder is paired with a 20mm anti-carding bolt, helping to protect against attack methods associated with nightlatches. Finished in polished chrome, this lock also comes with a 15-year guarantee.
