Yale Locks Bs2 British Standard Nightlatch - Multi Colour

Designed for timber external doors, the Yale BS2 British Standard Nightlatch is a maximum security nightlatch approved to British Standard for added confidence at the door. Kitemarked to BS 3621:2007 and recommended by insurance companies, it offers a considered balance of everyday access and enhanced security features.

Operation is key-operated from the outside, with key and lever handle operation from the inside. For increased security, the internal handle can be locked. The latch automatically deadlocks when the door is closed, while the snib function allows the latch to be held back when required. A 6 pin high performance cylinder is paired with a 20mm anti-carding bolt, and the lock is backed by a 10 year guarantee. With a 40mm backset, it is suited to installations where space is restricted, such as on a glass panelled door.
